The Saints Prison Ministry operates year-round throughout most of the country. The Southeast Regional Office in Georgia complements the NJ World Headquarters in daily operations , including overseeing our remote locations in Colorado, Illinois, and Virginia. From these locations, our teams minister regularly in 12 states – and reaching many more by way of short-term missions trips. The Saints Board of Trustees is committed to following God’s leading by expanding regionally as the Lord provides opportunities.

We’re Still Working!

I have a hard time defining what we do as “work”. Yes, we are laboring and completing tasks, but when it is a passion and a calling the word “work” seems inadequate.

Let’s say instead that our entire staff is still hard at the process of preparing for the 2020 summer season. Following the Lord’s leading, we have been very proactive in staying in touch with prisons, rescheduling events before they become a problem, and monitoring our finances closely.

We have rescheduled the opening of our 2020 softball season for June 6, five weeks later than previously planned, but all the prisons appreciated that we contacted them – they are anxious to have us back and we now have committed dates into October, providing the restrictions and precautions allow it.

Our teams are equally excited about getting back to the mission of introducing inmates to Jesus and we have been actively preparing for softball crusade season to resume in July (remember we conducted one in March before things fell apart). We have three teams slated for July crusades and they are all completely booked with prisons chomping at the bit to get back to some sense of normalcy!

My request is that you continue to pray for the Saints Prison Ministry’s leadership; we are laser-focused on what God has for us, and we have seen validation in the last couple months that we appear to be walking the path that the Lord is leading. Pray that we continue to see His hand in our decisions, as well as praying for those inmates we will [eventually] be called to love……face-to-six-feet-away-face!
